Faith is “the belief that something is true or real without seeing proof”.
Thomas was not with the other disciples when Jesus first appeared to them in the locked room. When the disciples told Thomas that they had seen Jesus alive, he refused to believe them, saying he would not believe it until he had seen Jesus with the “nail wounds in his hands” himself (John 20:19-27). Later, Jesus appeared to Thomas and let him see his wounds and told him “Don’t be faithless any longer. Believe!”.

Faith is the “belief that something is true or real without seeing proof”. How can we convince people to believe in the truth of Jesus?
“I don’t believe it” – An imagination game: See Family Activity 2 on the sheet – open or download it here
Take it in turns to describe something you are imagining and convince the others that it is real!
eg “I see a pink frog”. “I don’t believe it”…
Sharing the good news
How many ways can you find to share the Easter story? You could draw a picture, write story or a poem, maybe make a model out of Lego or recycling materials or record yourself singing a song or telling the story.
