Thank you for family and friends.
Thank you that your love for me never ends.

Story:  The Road to Damascus (Drama based on Acts 9)

Song: Friend of God

Something to talk about

Jesus gave Saul another chance to be his friend.  Ananias gave Saul another chance when he bravely went to him and helped him see again.  Is there someone you know who needs to be given another chance?

Did you know?
  • From this story we get the expression “to see the light” – which means to see the error of your ways.
  • Saul/Paul went on to become one of the most famous Christians of all time – Saint Paul who travelled all over the world telling people about Jesus. He went from being someone who did not like Jesus and did not believe that Jesus was the son of God, to a believer and a Friend of God.
Activities
  • Set up an obstacle course, blindfold somebody and then guide them through the course using just instructions or the sound of your voice. You could talk about how it feels having to trust somebody else to guide you and share how Saul must have felt.
