The song I’ve chosen to get us going is “Lean On Me” by Bill Withers. It’s a song with a great tune and a simple and straightforward message. Although leaning on each other in a physical sense is possibly not a good idea at the moment, the songs basic message is about our need for each other and that it’s OK to say we need help. The song is a great reminder that, whatever our circumstances and limitations, you and I can offer the invitation to others to ‘call me’.

This is a favourite of the community choir Sing Gold which I have the privilege to serve. Missing you all folks.

I’m linking this to a version sung literally all around the world. Enjoy. We are not alone.
