Wednesday 1 April

Our friend Dave Hopwood is a writer, poet, performer and speaker. He posted the following on Facebook the other day:

What I find amazing about these days is the number of things I’ve read, heard about, seen … where folks are doing what they can to help each other along, to encourage one another, to offer helpful and creative ideas.

It reminds me of one of the lines from the opening of “Love Actually”, about the way that, in spite of the opinion that we live in a world of hatred and greed, that’s not necessarily the case. Love is around us, though it is often not dignified or newsworthy. Let’s keep on encouraging one another, it’s a brilliant thing to do. Well done folks. Thank you for your encouragements to us.

He suggests the opening scene from Love Actually, and we have included the closing sequence as well … it would be a shame not to!
