{"id":40,"date":"2016-05-17T14:32:41","date_gmt":"2016-05-17T14:32:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/goldsworthpark.org.uk\/mission\/?page_id=40"},"modified":"2025-11-12T11:26:04","modified_gmt":"2025-11-12T11:26:04","slug":"our-mission-support-strategy","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/goldsworthpark.org.uk\/mission\/our-mission-support-strategy\/","title":{"rendered":"Our Mission Support Strategy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">World mission has been described as \u201cThe whole church taking the whole gospel to the whole world\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Our strategy recognises St Andrew&#8217;s long history of support to mission partners in<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Woking and overseas, and it looks to build on this.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The requirement for the church to be involved in world mission is directed by the bible; not only in<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Jesus\u2019 final \u2018Great Commission\u2019 to his disciples (\u201cTherefore go and make disciples of all nations\u201d, and<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cYou will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth\u201d)<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">but in many other places (eg. from Paul, \u201cHow, then, can they call on the one they have not believed<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent?\u201d).
