On Sunday 3rd July we were very pleased to welcome to St Andrew’s Bishop Samuel Muya who heads up the Talents Children’s Mission in Elburgon, Kenya. St. Andrew’s has had a long time connection with Talents and, over the years, has helped fund toilets, a borehole, chickens and pigs as well as sponsoring individual boys at the orphanage.
It was good to hear their latest news about boys who have now graduated high school to go on to further education and training and about plans to sell water from their borehole – it is excellent quality – to help fund the mission.
They have recently been praised by the Kenyan Government as being a great example to other orphanages in the country.
We welcome Bishop Samuel who brings news from Talents Children’s Mission in Kenya
