Chocks Away!
Our MAF fun day On Saturday 3rd September 2016 passed with flying colours! Around 200 people from the local Goldsworth Park community came to see our real life Cessna aircraft, have a go on the bouncy castle, try their hand on the flight simulator and eat their own bodyweight in cake. Oh yes and find out about the amazing work of our partners; Mission Aviation Fellowship.
MAF is a fantastic charity, who work with some of the worlds most isolated people. With their fleet of light aircraft, MAF are able to fly much needed aid relief to remote and hard to reach locations in 27 different countries all around the world. You could say, the sun never sets on MAF. It was a pleasure for us at St Andrew’s to have representatives from MAF and MAF youth on Saturday, to share something of the great work they do, as well as having Michael Duncalfe, the chief pilot for their work in Papua New Guinea come to speak to us about the work of MAF on Sunday morning.
There will be more photos to come, but for more information about the work of MAF, please click here
