Find a comfortable place to sit. Set a timer. Keep warm if you feel the cold. Shed a layer if you are warm, and…
Start to breathe, slowly.
Place your hand on your stomach. Try to breathe through your stomach, and not through the up and down of your shoulders. When you do this, you use the bottom part of your lungs, and breath more deeply. Feel your stomach fall and rise with your breath.
Close your eyes if you’d like to.
And repeat for 10 to 15 minutes, four times a day.
